So you want to know about us, eh?

Cool! Because we like to talk about ourselves. :-)

The legend that is Cryode…

Cryode Studios is a web design and development studio based in Racine, Wisconsin. We’re a fun bunch that loves staring at computer monitors for hours, religiously checking code validity, long walks on the beach – you know, that stuff. With over three years of tedious work torture professional experience, we won’t be happy until we help get you or your web project online yesterday!

Behind The Scenes

Cryode's lead busting a move. Eric “Aken” Roberts → Founder / Director / Janitor

Cryode Studios is currently the one-man show that is Eric. The 25-year-old Wisconsin native has been into the web since the ripe age of 14. Thankfully he’s a little better at this whole web thing now (seriously – check out this website sketch from 1999).

When he’s not elbow deep in a web acronym, Eric can be found riding his sportbike, doodling in a notebook, driving around somewhere, taking pics of stuff, and more.

You can catch Eric babbling about nothing on Twitter, posting as “Aken” on many a random message board, or just look for a pack of sportbikes somewhere in Milwaukee on a warm summer evening.

Hired goons! → Subcontractors ‘R Us

In an effort to provide the best possible product and service to our customers, Cryode will occasionally call on the help of outside professionals to assist with various parts of a project. These talented businesses and freelancers excel in fields like identity and branding design, graphic design or web programming (and other stuff Eric isn’t awesome at). And while you, the customer, will never have to deal with these fine folks, they do appear occasionally behind the scenes.

We’re very nice!

We are - and encourage - being nice! Operation NICE is a wonderful website dedicating to spreading – you guessed it – niceness! (Is that a word?)

Operation NICE encourages individuals to be proactively NICE. Stop by to read some positive, upbeat news stories (yes, they exist) about nice people. Download some tools to help you in your quest to communicate the concept of niceness. Share a story or two about how someone made your day.

We like that. And we hope our rock star service helps make your day better, regardless of whether you become a client or not.

Is that it?

Probably. We babbled a lot. Any other questions, just ask!
